I know it's like a year late, but the "liquid lip" is actually a lip tint, which was why is was so dry. It's not really meant to be worn thickly, it's supposed to be a light, soft, slight lip color, meant to be worn daily. It's a super popular thing in Korea, and some actually have a moisturizer side to the stick to give the popular gradient look.
